The Birkat Hashem association has been active since 2016, supporting low-income families, needy people, widows and orphans. Amongst the many charity organizations which the Jewish people have been blessed with, the Birkat Hashem association stands out for the unique ideal guiding it consistently since its inception:
Giving the best is the best way to give!
This principle is the cornerstone of all the Birkat Hashem programs, and therefore extra and careful attention is paid to each and every aspect of the support and assistance provided to families in need.
The quality, brand and careful packaging of the items being distributed. The manner in which the help is offered, with thought and careful consideration of the recipients' dignity and feelings.
Birkat Hashem runs programs spanning two different, though overlapping cycles:
Throughout the year cycle, ongoing support is provided to the needy, with extra assistance prior to Jewish holidays.
At every stage of the life cycle, personal support is given to the person in need, in accordance with his individual requirements. Both in times of joy – Brit, Bar Mitzvah, and wedding; and unfortunately, in times of hardship and sorrow, illness and loss.
Birkat Hashem particularly excels in individualizing its services. Each person is a whole world, and his needs are diverse and dynamic, fluctuating in accordance with his style, background and life conditions. This outlook allows us to precisely meet the specific needs of each individual and family, no matter what their situation is.
It's not just another food basket.
It's not just another place to apply to for financial help.
Giving the best, with dignity!
